Water pollution

KOGAS wastewater processing is mostly outsourced to other businesses. We process a portion ourselves; as we make it a rule to manage the water quality periodically performing actions such as neutralization, non-point pollutants treatments, and oil-water separation. We also check marine facilities and anti-pollution devices on a monthly basis to prevent marine pollution, and conduct annual exercises to prevent marine pollution in cooperation with the relevant institutions. In addition, we strive to reduce the water used at our facilities by periodically registering the amount of consumption in the environmental management computer system after checking waterworks, groundwater, and seawater meters.
