Enacted on June 19, 2019 Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) is one of the nation’s foremost eco-friendly corporations. It was established to provide people with a safe and stable supply of clean and easily-used natural gas on the basis of its corporate philosophy: “A Better World through Better Energy.”

KOGAS has been making every effort to fulfill its social responsibility by actively carrying out integrity-based ethical management, which is the foundation of our corporation.

We hereby enact this Charter of Ethics in order to ground KOGAS as a leading corporation practicing transparent and fair management of integrity and ethics, based on the four core values of trust, responsibility, change, and challenge. We are fully determined to carry out our mission by using the Charter as our standard for all staff’s proper conduct and value judgment.

• First, we will perform our tasks fairly and honestly with a high sense of integrity and ethics, thereby fostering an atmosphere of public service and contributing to gaining public confidence.

• Second, we will respect our staff as individuals, abolish all forms of discrimination and firmly establish a sound business culture based on mutual trust and understanding among staff.

• Fourth, we will perform our responsibility as a shareholder through rational management and transparently publish management data.

• Fifth, we will redouble efforts to ensure customer satisfaction by guaranteeing the safe and stable supply of natural gas and by providing the very best customer service.

• Sixth, we will strive to realize our value as a member of society and actively engage in diversified activities aimed at fostering clean environment, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the nation and its regions.
